Our ambitionOur goal is to be the go-to provider for common goods and services in the public sector.Many potential customers won't use our deals unless we can help them deliver social value benefits.We want customers to be confident that we will help them deliver their social value priorities.CCCCS

A new approachHow can you build social value into wide-ranging, national frameworks?We think the solution is to test suppliers’ social value understanding and approach at framework level.We’ve tested this approach with our Estates Professional Services framework.CCCCS
Simplification programmeIn April we launched a new CCS bid pack that’s shorter, simpler and easier for suppliers to understand.We’re including a new schedule setting out the standards and behaviours that CCS expects of all its suppliers. We’re making it easier for customers and suppliers to work with us.We’ve slimmed down and simplified our Ts & Cs.
Modern SlaveryCCS has been working with HO, FCO and BEIS to pilot a new approach.Aim has been to test our suppliers’ willingness to tell us how they are tackling the issue.Over 70% of the 91 suppliers we approached have completed our questionnaire.Plan is to rollout the approach across government.CCCCS
